Riverlinx has been shortlisted for NCE Tunnelling Awards 2022

As construction and engineering works on the Silvertown Tunnel continue, our Secant Bored pile Peanut shaft has been shortlisted in the Innovation in Shaft Design & Construction category of the New Civil Engineer Tunnelling Awards 2022. It is a fantastic achievement to be shortlisted among large number of entries and we are moving forward in the tunnelling awards.

The category recognises projects that drive the use of innovative methods and smart technologies within the industry to improve design and construction of shafts for tunnelling schemes and other deep excavations.

Our shafts for the Silvertown Tunnel project demonstrated innovation, research and investment required to make it a success. Riverlinx CJV showcased the details of the innovation and how the design of our shaft reduced ground risk.

The New Civil Engineer Tunnelling Festival brings together the entire tunnelling community for an interactive and immersive day filled with case studies, debate, future project updates and the Tunnelling Awards. By joining this event Riverlinx CJV will make new connections with project leads, gain insight into design and delivery innovations and understand the scope of future opportunities across sectors.

Riverlinx CJV is moving forward in the tunnelling awards and the goal of the Silvertown Tunnel that is a 1.4km twin-bore tunnel.
